Aptly named EcoBoost models feature a 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that delivers 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, and comes paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. GT models feature a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine that generates 480 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. They’re available with the Performance Package that uses the MagneRide Damping System to adjust the suspension in real-time.
The Mustang Dark Horse trims come with a modified 5.0L Coyote V8 engine that produces an impressive 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. These models are available with either a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission with rev matching or the 10-speed automatic. The adaptive suspension comes standard, while an available Handling Package improves track performance and stability.

The Mustang is instantly recognizable, with its long hood and short rear deck. The 2025 models include both fastback and convertible varieties. They’re available in nine paint colors, including a new Molten Magenta Metallic Tri-Coat. The headlights and taillights retain their tri-bar design, with sequential turn signals in the tail lamps. A 60th Anniversary Package is available exclusively in GT Premium models, featuring retro-inspired badging, a distinct grille, and smoked headlights.
Modern, Refined Interior
Six interior themes are available in the 2025 Mustang, including a classic Black Onyx theme with all-black accents, a Carmine Red theme with red and black accents, and a Black Blue Dinamica theme with suede upholstery, black accents, and blue stitching. The standard interior includes cloth seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel. GT Premium and Dark Horse trims upgrade to bolstered leather-trimmed seats with available RECARO performance seats.
Centered on the dashboard is a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
